Our perceptions of romantic love are often deceptive. It is common to think that the person we love will somehow have what we lack. This is nonsense! We already possess, within ourselves, complete masculine and feminine energies in their latent state. It is our responsibility to awaken these attributes through the example given us by our life partners.
The couple dynamic enables us work towards the fusion of our “inner energetic currents” which means the mingling of our feminine YIN and our masculine YANG energies. Our “OUTER” couple is the reflection of our “INNER” couple. If, as a couple, we live in conflict, the emotional wounds bury themselves in our body’s cellular memories. These can create illnesses in the body if they are not healed
Society and religions tend to instil in us belief systems that are contradictory to our actual reality. We project the Anima (feminine principle) and the Animus (masculine principle) onto our partners, hoping they will respond to our desires and expectations.
This two-night workshop explores the dynamic of fusing the “inner” couple through the actual dynamic of the “outer” self-discovery – truly knowing oneself is the master trump in this dance of the inner couple. Through games and sharing, we discover our authentic selves. We understand the modus operendi of deciphering the expectation that blocks our paths toward genuine love.
Between the “fusion” couple or the “distant” couple, we find the balanced distance in this dance with the other, creating the space to evolve in a marriage of both our feminine and masculine energy currents.
